Impact: Student Leaders @ FCCH

Impact is our student leader program designed to plug High School students into various volunteer opportunities in the church while helping them grow leadership skills.

Impact is our program for high schoolers designed to promote volunteerism, leadership, and engagement within the life of our church. Through this program, we aim to cultivate your student’s leadership skills, nurture a compassionate heart for serving others, deepen their relationships in our faith community, and recognize them for the incredible human being they already are.

New this year, we will be reimagining how our students grow through their service – giving them more opportunity to lead and shape the activities we participate in here in our faith community. Where in years past, Impact has been about individual achievement through earning service hours, this year we are shifting to a model that is team oriented and collaborative with church staff. Students will be invited to be a part of a number of leadership teams that will provide key functions of our youth ministry throughout the year.

Students will also be led through a leadership development program based off the workbook Heart: A Journey Toward Cultural Humility! We’re really excited to give structure to our leadership development with our students.

Most of our service opportunities transfer to the various service hour requirements that schools have – helping set your student up for success in communities like Key Club and National Honors Society. The experiences we have to offer also look great on college applications as well! Above all, the relationships that are created here have the potential to last a lifetime and be a source of support for your student throughout high school and beyond.

Orientation will happen on 8/17/25 @ 5pm. RSVP for Orientation Here.
