Nancy

Nancy has worn many hats here at church, serving as Church Moderator, a member of the Children’s Education Board and–more recently–the Membership Board, and as coordinator for Open M. Nancy also completed a stint as Church Clerk, and of course, she opened (with Dee Buchanan) and ran Valley View Preschool until it closed in 2025.

As Coordinator of Care Ministries, Nancy will be focusing on three main priorities: the integration of faith and health, pastoral care, and programmatic ministry. Programs and events that Nancy will develop and lead include WOW (Women on Wednesdays), chair yoga, walking and hiking groups, YANA, FYI and Caring Hearts.

Nancy has lived in Hudson for 19 years with her husband Jorge and they have three children: Sam, Ben and Sofia. Outside of her work at the church, Nancy also coaches the Hudson High School’s JV field hockey team.
