Rev. Dr. Peter Wiley Interviewed at Prayer Vigil for Peace in Akron on April 18, 2023
April 18, Peter and other members of the FCCH staff attended a Prayer Vigil for Peace organized by Pastor Kemp Boyd following the recent grand jury decision in the case of Jayland Walker.
Pastor Boyd is the Executive Director of Love, Akron and Chair of the newly convened Citizen’s Police Oversight Board in Akron. In January, 2023, Pastor Boyd spoke at First Congregational Church about his experiences growing up as a young man of color in Akron. Watch a recording of this program here.
