HIgh School

We are dedicated to offering youth Christ-Centered opportunities to connect, grow and serve. Students in grades 6-12 have the chance to participate in weekly youth groups and Sunday morning programs, as well numerous service projects and fellowship times throughout the year. Questions? Contact Callie Baylor, Director of Youth Ministries.

  • Sunday morning Programs: The Nine and Breakfast Club

Students are invited to come to the Youth Room on the Third Floor of the church every Sunday morning at 9 (The Nine) or 10:30 a.m. (Breakfast Club). High school students start out with a large group teaching time. Then they move into an age apparent discussion group to talk about the teaching they just heard. Donuts are always served!

  • Sunday Evenings: Serve & Learn Together (SALT)

Every Sunday evening at 6 p.m., high school students connect with an innovative fellowship opportunity we call SALT.  Throughout the month, kids have the chance to serve in the community, participate in small group study, and enjoy fun events -  all while learning together.

  • APPALACHIA Service Project

Each June, nearly 100 high school students and adults pile into vans and travel to Appalachia to make homes there warmer, safer, drier. For more information on this awesome experience, visit ASP's homepage.

  • Gennesaret Soup Kitchen Service

On the first Saturday of each month from  9 a.m. - 2 p.m.,  students travel to Gennesaret in downtown Akron to serve a hot lunch to families in need.
