The Children's Center is a non-profit, Christian program, directed by Bonnie Bailey, that offers quality childcare and preschool classes for children ages 2 (by September 30th) through kindergarten. All programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and has annual inspections by the Ohio Department of Health, Education, Job and Family Services and Hudson Fire Department.
Our primary goal is to provide a safe, loving home-like environment. Degreed staff offer a well-organized, developmental curriculum to enhance every aspect of a child’s development. Children enjoy science and math activities, language arts, music and art centered around a “theme for the week.” In addition, various Christian activities are offered to nurture children in the Christian faith and life. Children also participate in a once-a-month Children’s Chapel program that includes stories and interactive music provided by Dee Buchanan, Director of Children’s Ministries and Eve Sliwinski, Director of Music. A well-equipped outdoor playground and a mini gymnasium provide year around opportunities for the children to run and play.
