Sunday School is offered for our children during our 9:00 & 10:30 & 11:59 services.
Our children are offered a curriculum based in mainline Christian theology. We believe the Bible to be the unique word of God, written by people of faith, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Toddlers-Kindergarten 
Scheduling: We offer Sunday school for our toddler through kindergarten aged children every Sunday throughout the year. Children can go directly to their Sunday school classrooms (located on the first floor) as soon as they arrive- teachers and shepherds will be expecting them!
Curriculum: These students are using an exciting curriculum made up from two sources:
- Godly Play is a widely used curriculum which uses wooden manipulatives to tell Bible stories. Our teachers tell the story and lead the children in "quiet wondering" where the children are allowed to explore the meaning of Bible stories for themselves and expand their budding faiths.
- Children Learn What They Read is a unique curriculum, which we intersperse with Godly Play stories, and was created at a UCC church in Cleveland. This curriculum introduces readers to notable books that contain spiritual themes. These books, many of them award winners, demonstrate God's love, presence, care and principles through the portrayal of nature, families, diverse settings, and multicultural contexts.
1st-5th Grades
Scheduling: At both the 9:00 & 10:30 services our 1st-5th graders are invited to come to worship with their families through the Children's Message (during the Children's Message, the children gather at the front of the sanctuary.) Following the Children's Message, the children are led by their grade-level shepherds to individual workshops. On the first Sunday of each month there is no Children's Message during worship, so all children (toddler-5th grade) go directly to their Sunday school rooms on the first floor. At 11:59 the children are invited to go directly to their Sunday School room on the first floor.
Curriculum: Workshop Rotation is a concept where classrooms are designed into creative, kid-pleasing workshops that teach Bible stories. Our workshops include drama, art, audiovisuals, computers, Bible games, puppets and music. Classes are divided by grade level to rotate to new workshops each week for five weeks. During the five week period only ONE Bible story is taught. The entire rotation - every workshop, every week- is focused on learning that one Bible story!
