Christian Musical Arts Program

The Christian Musical Arts Program (CMAP) is a comprehensive, graded choir program for children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. CMAP is held on Wednesday afternoons from September through May at the church from 4:30 to 6:30 (Sixth through Eighth grade is held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and includes choir, Orff instruction, Handbells/Handdchimes, dinner and fellowship. The children are taught music for sharing in worship services, including introits, anthems, offertories, prayers and benedictions. The children participate in worship once a month, sing in the annual Christmas concert and present a Christian musical in the spring.

Children participate in the Angel Choir (grades K/1), the Carol Choir (grades 2/3 ), the Crusader Choir (grades 4/ 5) and the Alleluia Singers and Ringers (grades 6/7/8). For more information on CMAP, please email esliwinski@hudsonucc.org
